PROHIBITION & SPEAKEASY

Many things happened in the 1920’s, but one act specially had a enormous impact in the social behavior, the Prohibition Law in the United States and Canada. People were not willing to accept these terms, and so the birth of the Speakeasies came forth, with hidden sections of establishments where you could enter only with a secret password. At that time, due to the Prohibition, gin manufacture would commonly take place in garages and bathtubs. Of course SAVVY is now distilled in a much more complex way, but we still like to recall those funny facts.

THE ROARING TWENTIES

SAVVY is a celebration to the Roaring Twenties, an era of social and cultural dynamism. Jazz music blossomed and the flapper redifined the modern look. SAVVY’s bottle is inspired in Art Deco, the style of design and architecture that marked the 1920’s.
